LPN - Same Day Surgery
Full-Time
Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm
Education: Graduate from credited school of nursing as an LPN.
Licenses: Current AL State Nursing License, Current BLS/ACLS
Requirements: One (1) year Med/Surg, ICU or ER experience preferred. Computer skills required. You will be required to work extended hours if case load requires.
Duties Include: Will be working on the Same Day surgical unit. Good IV skills are required, and medication knowledge is critical for completion of admission records. Provides for patient and families education on discharge planning. Teamwork and critical thinking skills are essential. Maintain good working relationship among staff, co-workers and customers. Good people and communication skills are required. Must possess and help implement a positive attitude. Perform other duties as required.
