For the Patient
Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. Mizell Memorial Hospital makes every effort to provide nutritious meals, prepared to your physician's orders, who will prescribe a diet suitable for your medical needs. Substitutions to your meal may be made in accordance with your specific diet. The dietary staff are available to help you choose food preferences that are suitable for your individual dietary needs.
Patients are served breakfast at 7:00 a.m.; lunch at 12:00 p.m., and dinner at approximately 5:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT INPATIENT NOTICE REGARDING THE DINING ROOM: To maintain strict level of health and safety standards and to ensure your appropriate diet, we ask our inpatients to please request food and drinks from the nursing staff on their unit.
For Guest Meals
Guests staying in the room with a patient may order a Guest Meal delivered to the room (no more than two guest meals per room per meal). Meals must be ordered by the following times and must be prepaid through Admissions or the Business Office to receive the following discounted rates:
Breakfast 6:30 a.m. $2.00
Lunch 10:30 a.m. $2.50
Supper 4:00 p.m. $2.50
For the Public
The dining room is now open to the public.
Breakfast 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Vending Machines are located on the first floor, third floor waiting room & by registration.
